Throughout life I was fascinated by science. In the study of geology all exact sciences were combined and elective courses in engineering, business and innovation further broadened my horizon. Initial exposure to project oriented environments was acquired during the business and innovation minor and within the faculty student organization of Leuven geologists (Geos). As president of the student organization in academic year ’15-’16, Geos allowed me to develop communication skills which further evolved as public relations & international responsible. The project environment Cyclops offers and its connections in multiple industries had me hooked. Starting at Cyclops my first project was to support a colleague in a 3 week long turn around, resulting in hands-on experience with planning, works on a chemical production plant and communication with the client’s team as well as external contractors.
