We are currently looking for a SENIOR PROJECT SCHEDULER, to support the Business Unit Turnaround Management (TAR). The BU TAR specializes in delivering support for companies in periodic shutdowns and turnarounds. The preparation phase typically takes a minimum of 1,5 year-2 years depending on the scope of work. An accurate and precise planning is vital for a successful preparation and execution of turnaround.
About the job:
As a Project Scheduler you will be responsible for the all scheduling activities within the project.
You will act as Owner’s representative for our clients or will be part of a bigger project team
The projects you will be involved in as a Project Scheduler comprise a variety of industries such as Food, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, FMCG, Metallurgy, etc.
As a Project Scheduler, you are responsible for setting up, monitoring and controlling the schedule for entire and partial systems and tracking the progress.
You coordinate the preparation and the execution phase of a turnaround by scheduling all required tasks and estimating the right amount of resources.
You are an open communicator, able to retrieve the necessary information from the project stakeholders and team members in order to develop the schedule.
You coordinate, monitor and control the construction and assembly dates as support for the construction managers.
Assistance of the Project Manager for decision-making regarding any measures that may be required to promptly implement customer requirements.
You are responsible for the transparent reporting of the project status and possible countermeasures in the event of delays.
What we need:
You have a bachelor’s degree.
As a Project Scheduler, you have the ability to translate the demands of the client into individual activities/tasks.
You have at least 5 years of experience in scheduling for industrial projects in a dedicated software tool.
With your outstanding people management and communication skills you succeed in getting the necessary information to develop the schedule from the project team, which includes suppliers, end users, maintenance staff, engineering department, procurement, ...
You are resistant to stress and pressure.
You are absolutely dedicated to your work, which you execute with extreme precision and an eye for detail.
You are flexible to travel within Belgium.
Your software skills include Office Suite and Microsoft Project, Primavera or other planning software tool.
You speak French, Dutch or English.
